1.4 Defined Blackout Periods
The following are designated Defined Blackout Periods for re-certification audits. This list of blackout dates must be submitted to the certification body by the Food Defense Coordinator a minimum of one month before the sixty (60) day recertification window for the agreed unannounced audit.
- All weekends (Saturday and Sunday) when a warehouse location is not open
- The week of Memorial Day
- The week of Independence Day
- The week of Labor Day
- The week of Thanksgiving
- 23 December through 02 January of the following year
