Service Program provided by Ecolab

A service technician will report to a GWSI representative, explain the services to be performed, check the Quality Assurance Log Book, and handle any concerns arising since the last service inspection.

The Sanitation Log Book will include an approved pesticide/rodenticide list for all on-site products, plot plans, labels, MSDS Sheets, insurance certificates, licenses, and all pertinent information.

Pest control in areas designated as organic storage facilities will adhere to organic standards.

All rodent stations will be cleaned, dated, and serviced. Upon completion of service, the technician will report to GWSI with service findings and recommendations.

All service reports and documentation will be in the logbook, along with emergency numbers and contact information.

The technician will install interior and exterior stations, which should be numbered and included in the plot plan. Additionally, a 24-hour emergency service is available during regular working hours.

Snap Trap Program for Mice/Rodents

In addition to the IPM services provided by Ecolab, GWSI may deploy IPM devices, snap traps, tin cats, and or glue boards in areas according to the following criteria:

  • If Ecolab service reports identify mouse or rodent activity in a particular area in the warehouse
  • GWSI pallet inspections identify mouse or rodent activity in a specific location in the warehouse
  • There is an elevated IPM risk due to the type or quantity of product in storage.

Whenever GWSI employs additional IPM Devices, the site plan is updated to show the location and quantity of devices deployed.

The location and quantity of devices are also recorded on the Snap Trap Program inspection report.

GWSI IPM Devices will be monitored at least twice weekly.  After each inspection, the Snap Trap Program report will be completed. When the IPM risk is mitigated or no activity is found, the IPM devices will be removed from the warehouse.

Records of Pest Control measures are maintained on the Ecolab Customer Portal.
