2.2.7 Forklift Operator Job Description
GWSI is currently seeking experienced Forklift Operators. Due to continued growth, we seek skilled Forklift Operators to unload, load, and stack various commodity products. Duties
- Operate forklift
- Work within the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company
- Perform cycle counts as required
- Pick and stage orders to be shipped
- Identify safety hazards in the workplace
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED required
- 2+ years experience operating powered forklifts preferred
- Knowledge of various material-handling equipment is an asset
- Possess a high regard for safety in the workplace
- Ability to perform all of the physical requirements, including lifting 50 pounds
- Must be able to pass a drug screen test
